We redefine inner communication processes, disintegrating habits in movement and thought to open up perception and response.

We continue with a movement meditation on inner primary directions allowing them to be the origin of movement and noticing the physical conditioning forces, which will be the source of our investigation and challenging of our dancing abilities.

The class ends with the dancing of instant sequences making use of the tools gained through the practice and recognizing a new relationship to dance training and technical development.

 We investigate relationships among bone structures and the point of contact with the floor, relationships among organs and spatial volumes, speed, balance, impulse, pause, focus of eyes and ears, distance, attraction and gravity.

 We look at possibilities and we edit possibilities, working with repetition, inhibition, insistence, withdrawal, absence, attack. We develop an understanding of our dynamic systems and a dialogue among movement and thought.

We work on silence and sound, studying possible dialogues with music and understanding the body’s ability to create rhythm and melody.

We build strength, flexibility and technique in muscles, ligaments, joints, and mind, to let the dance come through.

Technique is developed through the challenges and needs presented by each body in the context of this training.

The idea of Not Doing (AT) or Wu Wei (qi gong) is the main concept reinforcing the development of a technique without strain.
